Heritage looking at coop options

Heritage may be looking for a new co-op for football.

The Shiloh School Board is looking at the possibility of cooping with Tri-County for football.

Heritage Superintendent Allen Hall said the East Central Panthers coop would end if the Shiloh district decides to coop with Tri-County.

Hall said Heritage had contacted Villa Grove to see if they would like to coop with Heritage.

"Villa Grove is the school Heritage is looking at but it is still in the early stages," he said.

Hall said Heritage would be open to coop multiple sports with Villa Grove but nothing had been decided.

Hall said the ECP baseball coop could be maintained even if the football coop with Shiloh is dissolved. He said that decision has yet to be made.

Hall said Heritage needs to coop with a school to maintain a football program.
