Perfect week for Wolken, Upton

Corbin Wolken and Austin Upton finished the week for the St. Joseph-Ogden wrestling team undefeated.
The Spartans went 3-2 as a team, dropping two matches to ranked opponents.
Wolken was 4-0 with a pin, technical fall and two forfeits at 106 and 113 pounds.
Upton (31-1), ranked sixth in state at 170 pounds went 5-0 with two 8-1 decisions, two pins and a major decision while wrestling at 170 and 182 pounds.
SJO defeated Bismark Henning 53-18, thanks in part to back-to-back pins at 106 and 113 pounds by Wolken and Shane Skinner and four forfeits. The Spartans then downed Unity 32-23, winning three out of four of the upper weight classes, two by pins.
The Spartans dropped only one match to St. Thomas More in a 30-12 victory.
Skinner (59 seconds), David Trewyn (3:23 at 126), Ty Waller (2:35 at 138) and Upton (55 seconds) all had pins for SJO.
No. 15 Prairie Central beat SJO 42-21. Austin Hedrick, ranked sixth at 152 pounds, pushed Andrew Schuler, ranked fourth at 160 pounds, to the limit before falling 11-9. No. 13 Argenta-Oreana recorded a 57-21 win over the Spartans, thanks in part to four forfeits.
The Spartans will wrap-up the regular season with two straight at home.
SJO will host Hoopeston on Tuesday and then the East Central Invitational on Saturday before starting regionals.
