After recording their 1000th career win this past Saturday night, the St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans have begun the climb toward the next 1000 with a statement win over the #6 ranked team in Class 2A, the Williamsville Bullets 68-56 on Friday evening in St. Joseph.

Hannah Dukeman has a flair for the dramatic.
Dukeman, who is a sophomore, hit the game-winning jumper to lift the St. Joseph-Ogden Lady Spartans to a 52-51 victory over the Monticello Sages in an Illini Prairie Conference game on Monday evening in St. Joseph.
SJO boys hoops finish first full week of 2018 with a perfect 3-0 record, a win over tough T-Town

The St. Joseph-Ogden boys’ basketball team has begun the 2018 calendar year much like they ended 2017, on a roll and continuing to put up a lot of points.
Since their 98-66 win over Shelbyville in the first annual SJO Christie Clinic Shootout last Saturday, the Spartans have taken the floor three times, all of those being victories.

The inaugural SJO Christie Clinic Shootout was held on Saturday, January 6th, 2018 at St. Joseph-Ogden High School, and featured twelve teams from both large and small schools converging to offer an afternoon and evening of quality high school basketball action.

The St. Joseph-Ogden girls’ basketball team advanced to the semifinals of the 2017 State Farm Holiday Classic in Bloomington-Normal on Thursday on a last second shot by sophomore Hannah Dukeman, and earned the right to play top-seeded Annawan on Friday in a game that would put the winner in the championship game.
